PLEASE NOTE this is for HPMA members only

This session is for all staff involved with the recruitment and retention of international staff and immigration compliance issues.

Summary: In May, the UK government published a new immigration white paper outlining major reforms to the work-based immigration system. Designed to reduce net migration, the proposed changes include stricter Skilled Worker visa eligibility criteria, limitations on bringing dependents, and a longer route to settlement.

As a sector heavily reliant on international recruitment, particularly in health and social care, these reforms are likely to pose significant challenges for workforce planning and talent acquisition.

This training session will provide HR professionals with:

· A clear overview of the proposed changes in the white paper

· The current status of implementation and expected timelines

· Practical insights into what these changes mean for recruitment and compliance

· A forward look at anticipated developments over the coming months

With a fast-moving policy landscape, this session is essential for HR teams preparing for what promises to be a year of significant change in UK immigration.

Aim: By the end of this webinar you will be able to/have a:

· Clear idea of the policy changes within the immigration white paper

· A view to the possible changes we are anticipating in the coming months
