Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board

Prevention - Social Isolation & Self-Neglect

The Learning Objectives for the course are to:

  • identify behaviours and evidence for difficult to engage service users
  • strategies for encouraging engagement from service users
  • how to build relationships with difficult to engage service users
  • understand circumstances that may cause service users to disengage
  • support staff to work with difficult to engage service users
