Event description

Description

Maximum of 3 attendees per setting - if you would like training delivered to all staff at your setting, please get in touch: http://www.educationalpsychologywolverhampton.co.uk/

This is a free session offered by the Educational Psychology Service. The Educational Psychology Service applies psychological theory and research to problems and complex situations, and helps to meet a wide range of child and adolescent developmental needs, including special educational needs.

This session aims to develop an understanding of attachment theory and the different types of attachment, highlighting how this impacts the brain and can affect classroom behavior. This session also provides practical strategies to support vulnerable children and young people with attachment difficulties to provide the secure base that they need.

Who is the course for?

Relevant to all teaching and non-teaching staff. It is also relevant to non-school staff who have a direct role working with children and young people.

Free cancellation up until 48 hours before the event. If you cancel after this time your setting will be charged £30.

As this training is funded through Wolverhampton HeadStart, priority is given to those working in Wolverhampton or supporting children, young people and their families within Wolverhampton. If you work outside Wolverhampton and are interested in any of our sessions we may be able to offer you places if we are not fully booked or we may be able to provide the training for you however this would be charged. Please contact us to discuss.
