Online event
Overview
Dr Helton Levy is a senior lecturer in digital and visual media at SCDM and CARES member.
Their research examines the convergence of social and digital change, focusing on how the contemporary city has hosted emancipatory movements that have appropriated digital technologies to echo political goals. In this talk, Dr Levy will discuss some of their recent projects and outline future research opportunities at London Met, including the need for more interdisciplinary dialogue to engage with the growth of hybrid social and digital public interventions, in which the university plays a fundamental role as a mediator and partner with communities.
