COST/FUNDING:  £300 per place This is subsidised in 2022 for any state funded school in the vicinity of the 4 South Staffordshire CCG's: Seisdon, Lichfield, Tamworth, Burton, Uttoxeter, Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley.  For all others there would be an "out of area" cost of £600.  All schools will be asked to sign a service level agreement (SLA) to demonstrate thought and planning for using the training and embedding the role.

There will be limited training places- to be confirmed.  Please advise your schools' preference for invoicing.  This will then be managed by HOPE project admin suppport, Amanda Shakespeare.

PACKAGE: 4 days of foundation training, termly networking for 2 hours and 5 supervision session of one hour, or 1.5 hour for 2 staff.  Plus, access to additional training (YouCan Creative Education) and extensive resources via Dropbox such as worksheets/assessment tools to ensure a safe setup to offer a "Listening Ear" service.

We have also developed parent support for an additional space to offer reassurance/advice to parents & carers. Currently we try to offer 2 meetings a half-term.

In addition to this package additional training has been offered on topics such as emotion coaching, attachment, bereavement, yoga/mindfulness, taster of theraplay, brief interventions using evidence based outcome measures, developing a whole-school approach to support pupils' mental health.  Furthermore, when I am aware of additional training opportunities I email the "HOPE" schools straightaway to ensure the best opportunity to book on.

WHAT NOW? To sign up and participate, please ask the trainee to book on.  It MUST be the trainee name/email not admin/headteacher email.  The school will be expected to agree and sign up to a service level agreement and provide invoicing contact/information.
