We also recommend that you first complete our Babies, Brains, and Bonding Training, prior to attending our Understanding Your Baby Training. (With the exception of SCPHN students).

What is this training?

Caregivers who have a more attuned understanding of their infant’s behaviour respond more sensitively. This helps infants experience the world as a safe, predictable and reliable place. In turn this makes life easier for parents and increases their feelings of confidence and competence.

This interactive, face-to-face training aims to help you:

1. Improve your understanding of infant cues, states, and behaviours.
2. Feel confident sharing this knowledge and information with caregivers and families.
3. Support sensitive, responsive, and attuned relationships.
