Securing sustainable funding is a constant challenge. Nonprofits and businesses for good need to articulate their value proposition and demonstrate results to funders and to donors. This workshop focuses on using donor segmentation - the process of dividing donors into groups based on shared characteristics - to tailor communication and fundraising campaigns, leading to more engaged donors and increased donations.In particularly, we will be focusing on:

Introduction to basic donor data collection (e.g., donation history, engagement touchpoints).
Simple methods for segmenting donors (e.g., by donation size, frequency, interest).
Tailoring communication and fundraising appeals based on donor segments.
Measuring the effectiveness of different fundraising campaigns.
