Event description
Understand your emotional needs and where you might make changes to improve your sense of wellbeing and satisfaction.

About this Event

It is easy enough to recognise our physical needs: thirst, hunger, tiredness for example. Most of us know what to do in response to the messages our body is sending us when these needs are not met. We eat when we are hungry and sleep when we are tired.

But did you know that we also have a set of emotional needs such as the need for a sense of security, the need for a sense of control or a sense of meaning and purpose? When these needs are not met, the effects can range from emotional distress to mental ill health.

In this talk Diana will introduce the emotional needs and give people the chance to fill in an emotional needs audit to give insight into where you could make changes to improve your sense of wellbeing and lead to a more satisfying life.
