About this event

  • 2 hours

Our workshops and programmes are only available to parents / carers living in Warwickshire.

The teenage years can be challenging both for parents and teenagers themselves! But teenagers behaviour does not have to be a mystery.

The aim of Understanding Your Teenager 2-hour workshop is to enhance parent/carers relationships with their teenagers building on parent/carers understanding of teenage development and behaviours. The workshop will provide parent/carers with parenting strategies to help create positive family relationships and healthy lifestyles and increase parent confidence.

Topics covered during the session include:

· What to expect during this phase

· Understanding your teenagers behaviour and communication.

· Ideas and techniques to respond and support your teenager

· Positive and effective ways to helping to make the sometimes difficult adolescent years a little easier and more enjoyable.

This is a general overview and if further support and advice is identified, contacts and referral pathways will be available at the end of the workshop.

Even though the workshop is being held in a school setting, parents whose children attend other settings are also welcome.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate children in the room due to limited numbers.
