A 45 minute screenings of short films made by filmmakers living in the South West. The event will feature a mix of experimental film, animation, super 8, and short narrative films. The screening will include introductions from different filmmakers, plus a Q&A with filmmakers including:

- Niyaz Saghari, a filmmaker and director who makes work focusing on urban life in her home towns of Tehran and Bristol. She is a member of Bristol Experimental Expanded Film collective and has worked across animation and experimental analogue formats. www.niyazsaghari.com

- Dr Shawn Sobers, Associate Professor at UWE, photographer, filmmaker, writer and anthropologist. His work in film and photography is primarily people-based, rooted in personal narratives, hidden histories and untold stories. http://www.shawnsobers.com/about-2/

- Grace Fox, an emerging Bristol based filmmaker whose slate of short films have touched on loss, loneliness, the Spanish Civil War and post-apocalyptic society. https://www.youtube.com/c/GraceFoxProductions/videos

We will send out a Zoom link one day before the event and once more just before as a reminder. Please join the Zoom at 7:30pm, when we will do a brief introduction and provide a link to the short films, before returning to Zoom for the Q&A after the screening moderated by Nia Evans and Lauren Tenn.
