Conscious Connected Breathwork is a powerful breathing technique that helps release emotional, mental, and physical blockages. It involves a continuous, intentional breath pattern that can bring clarity, emotional healing, and deep connection to yourself.

Do I need any experience to attend?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience is needed! This retreat is open to complete beginners as well as those who have practiced breathwork before. You’ll be fully guided and supported throughout the day.

What can I expect from the retreat?

Accepted Answer

Two Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions, movement & embodiment practices (including shaking, journaling & reflection exercises, connection practices with others in a safe, supportive space, moments of stillness, laughter, and release and a nourishing breakfast & lunch to support your experience.

Where is the retreat held?

Accepted Answer

The retreat takes place at Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake in Nottingham—a beautiful, peaceful space perfect for deep inner work.

Question 5

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

We recommend bringing:
✔ A journal and pen for reflection
✔ A refillable water bottle
✔ Comfortable clothing you can move in
✔ Yoga mats, blankets and eye masks are provided but feel free to bring your own if you wish
✔ Any personal items that help you feel comfortable (e.g., a cushion, eye mask)

Will food and drinks be provided?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You’ll be welcomed with a fresh fruit breakfast, and tea, coffee, and water will be available throughout the day. A nourishing lunch will also be provided. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

Are there any health restrictions for breathwork?

Accepted Answer

Breathwork is a powerful practice. This retreat is not suitable for individuals with severe cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, recent major surgery, or pregnancy. Please read the waiver and if you have any medical conditions or concerns, please consult your doctor and inform the facilitators.

What if I feel overwhelmed or emotional during the session?

Accepted Answer

It’s completely normal to experience strong emotions during breathwork. You’ll be in a safe, supportive environment, and I will be there to guide you through whatever arises. You’ll never be pushed beyond what feels right for you.

Question 9

Will there be photos or videos taken?

Accepted Answer

There will be a photographer and videographer present at this event to capture key moments.
If you prefer not to be included in any photos/videos, please let us know at the start of the retreat.

Question 10

Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

Accepted Answer

Kindly note that there are no refunds for this event if cancelled within 4 weeks of the event. Prior to that, we may refund your ticket minus an admin fee. Please make sure when booking that you can make it. You can transfer your ticket to someone else as long as they can sign the waiver on arrival.

What happens if the event is cancelled?

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option to transfer your booking to a future date or receive a full refund.
We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
