The annual Multifaith Chaplaincy Lecture will be presented Dr Karen O’Donnell, who compassionately explores how trauma can shape a radical rethinking of theology, particularly in relation to forgiveness and unforgiveness, and asks with the trauma survivor ‘where is God to be found?’

Dr Karen O'Donnell is the Academic Dean at Westcott House and Associate Lecturer in the Divinity Faculty, Cambridge University. She has researched and written extensively in the area of trauma theology including The Dark Womb: Reconceiving Theology through Reproductive Loss (SCM Press, 2022) and Survival: Radical Spiritual Practices for Trauma Survivors (SCM Press, 2024).
