UNION-IP CHRISTMAS DINNER MEETING
The next UNION-IP dinner meeting will take place on:

Our speaker will be Charlotte May QC, one of our most recent silks. With 20 years’ experience as an IP specialist barrister and involvement in some of the most important cases over that time including leading successfully for the claimant in Thomas Pink v Victoria Secret, Charlotte provides a broad view of the IP spectrum in the English courts as well as of current trends in litigation, whilst in her role as Standing Counsel to the Controller (IPO) she has significant experience of policy issues and has represented UK government up to the CJEU. Charlotte will demonstrate why she was selected as one of The Lawyers Hot 100 Barristers of 2014 in her talk:

Time: Drinks from 6 for 6.30pm dinner, address by the speaker at about 8pm and a general question and answer/discussion session to finish by no later than 9.30pm, with the bar remaining open for those wishing to continue discussions in an informal atmosphere.
