UNION-IP Summer Event - Baroness Neville-Rolfe
Date and time
Description
UNION-IP Summer Event at the Royal Society
Wednesday 29 June 2016
Baroness Neville-Rolfe, Minister for Intellectual Property
Continuing its tradition of getting the highest profile IP speakers to its events, UNION-IP (British Group) is delighted to announce that our speaker for our Summer Event in 2016 will be the Minster for Intellectual Property, Baroness Neville-Rolfe. That we have a Minister for IP at all highlights the importance that is attached to intellectual property at a policy level, and the expertise and engagement that we have seen from the Baroness shows an impressive level of personal enthusiasm and involvement. The Minister will present a brief talk on National and International-level concerns and developments regarding the IP landscape and will also be able to take questions.
It won't escape notice that this event is just six days after the EU referendum which will give fascinating context to the evening's discussions.
As ever, the talk itself will be bracketed by a champagne reception beforehand and drinks and canapés afterwards, and we are hoping to see many of you there.
