About this event

Step aboard the historic Avon Valley Railway for a unique 5-course Gujarati Feast,

This is no ordinary restaurant style food, it is home cooking with love and care. This isn’t the Indian food you’re used to. This is a bold, colourful, and flavour-packed multi-course feast, designed to inspire you to eat well and experiment with new foods.

The meal will be cooked by the Mayor of Bath, Professor Bharat Pankhania, who is passionate about sharing sustainable, home-cooked dishes that invite you to explore different tastes and textures.

Bharat is well known for donating his time and effort in creating these renowned feasts in aid of local charities – they are truly unique and not to be missed.

The meal is restricted to 80 covers and will be served in two of Avon Valley Railway’s static heritage railway carriages on Friday 7th November, at its base at Bitton Station, in Bitton.

By attending, you’re not only treating your taste buds, but you’re also supporting a worthy cause. Your £48 ticket directly contributes to the Avon Valley Heritage Railway Trust as it recovers from a devastating £50,000 fraud.

Join us, savour the flavours, share the company, soak in the atmosphere, and leave with the recipes to recreate the magic at home.

One night. Five courses. Endless impact.
