Event description

Description

As part of their 100th anniversary celebrations, Homes and Gardens magazine have partnered with Petersham Nurseries to create this bespoke readership event.

Petersham Nurseries is well known for its dramtically wild and whimsical style of planting. During this event, horticultural experts will talk you through how to plan and style your summer borders - the Petersham way, to ensure they are both impactful and last well into the next season. You will be guided through various topics from how to use colour, to how to add shape and texture to enhance your border designs.

As part of the day, there will be a tour of our beautiful and functional cutting garden which provides flowers for displaying in our restaurant, shop and around the nurseries for the majority of the year.

In addition, and to mark this special occasion, Gael and Francesco Boglione, owners of Petersham Nurseries, have also agreed to open their garden for a private guided tour as part of this event. Petersham House, adjacent to the nurseries boasts a charming walled kitchen garden and glasshouse together with impressive double borders and topiary. During July the garden will be at the height of its most spectular summer colour.

Following the talk and the tour, participants will be able to enjoy a seasonal bellini and 3 course lunch provided by Petersham Nurseries Cafe.

NB. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please note, parking is restricted in the surrounding area and we encourage our visitors to travel via alternative means of transport whenever possible.
