Unique Learner Number (ULN) and Qualifications Reform Update
Thank you for the part you have played in the successful roll-out of the ULN during 2015/16. Around 80% (80,000) of NI pupils aged 14+ now have ULNs in place for examinations; this year will focus on getting ULNs for year 11 and processing remaining schools/pupils from 2015/6. Changes to GCSE and GCEs continue to be a focus for schools providing a range of qualifications to pupils; these events will also provide an update on this work.
The Department of Education have asked us to provide a series of morning support seminars in the early Autumn term, hosted by local schools, in response to a Superuser Evaluation. We would ask you to consider nominating an attendee with interests in ULN/Qualifications Update/Examinations to attend. (This information has also been sent to the school superuser for ULN work also.)
