Unitaid Safer Injecting Train-the-trainer Part 1B

Coact developed a one day training course on Safer Injecting that teaches harm reduction practictioners and peer workers how the circulation system, different types of needles and syringes including the latest low dead space options, and supports the safer preparation and administration of drugs for injection, and safe disposal practices.

Mat Southwell and other expert peer trainers will be running this 2 part virtual training course over 2 consecutive days (both sessions am and pm options available)

Participants of the course will have learned about the course content and be taught how to deliver the course. Graduates will have exclusive access to the training programme, presentation and trainers guide. The presentation is designed to be easily translated.

The presentation is beautifully designed by a community-led designer and is illustrated with technically accurate and non-stigmatising images.
