Uniting Rural Communities to Tackle Climate Change Event
About this event
The Rural Services Network is hosting a free online event on Tuesday, 12th October from 13:30-15:30 focusing on Uniting Rural Communities to Tackle Climate Change, which will focus on the ways that rural communities can work together to tackle climate change and play a key role in the drive towards net-zero.
This event forms part of the wider Countryside COP which aims to create space ahead of UK COP26 for the UK’s rural community to take centre stage, highlight our priorities and showcase our contribution to a just and equitable resilient net zero economy. Taking place from 11th to 15th October, the programme brings together events focused on the countryside and rural community, all under the Countryside COP banner.
This event will be run via Zoom and joining instructions will be sent a few days before the date of the event to those delegates who register to attend.
