University Centre Warrington Campus Tour

Actions and Detail Panel

Event description
Thinking of joining us this September? It’s time to explore our Warrington site.

About this event

There really is no better way to get a feel for our campuses than by visiting in person. Our student-led campus tours are designed to give you the opportunity to explore the general student facilities across our sites before commencing your studies this September, 2021.

These tours are currently restricted to those applying for 2021 entry. You can visit with one other person and your ticket is for up to two people.

If you are thinking of applying for 2022 entry, please register for updates on our upcoming virtual talks and tours. Don’t forget, you can also book your place on an October or November Open Day now.

How it Works

On a student-led campus tour you’ll have the opportunity to explore the outside of our buildings at our residential University Centre Warrington site.

The tour will take around 45 minutes and you'll have ample time to ask your student guide any questions you have. This tour will be outdoors only.

As government restrictions lift (hopefully from 17th May 2021) we hope to show you some of the indoor facilities, including examples of our on-campus accommodation.

Places on our tours are very limited due to Government restrictions. You can be accompanied by one guest and your tour ticket will automatically include a place for both you and your guest.

Why Visit University Centre Warrington?

The campus at University Centre Warrington will be the heart of your university experience. A home, a hub of learning and socialising, and where you’ll make lifelong friends and memories. Here you'll find many of the University's central facilities and services, including the Students' Union, catering outlets, the Broomhead Library, fitness facilities, teaching and learning facilities, and a range of University accommodation.

Campus Tours and Covid-19

The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority on all of our COVID-secure sites and there are a few things you'll need to know before you arrive at University Centre Warrington:

  • If you're experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not travel to Warrington.
  • We would encourage all visitors to take a COVID-19 test prior to arrival. Please only travel if your result is negative.
  • Please do not arrive before your allocated time slot. We have staggered our Campus Tour times to reduce crowding and queues.
  • NB. Tours are outdoors only until 17th May at the earliest (according to UK Government guidance).
  • After 17th May (or when restrictions are further eased), you'll be required to wear a mask at all times when you're in a building (unless exempt).
  • Please maintain social distancing and use the hand sanitising stations when entering and leaving buildings.

Please note, we continue to monitor government guidelines and will notify you of any changes. If campus tours are cancelled or rearranged due to the impact of Covid-19 we hope you’ll understand that the University of Chester will not be liable for any loss or damage such as travel and accommodation costs. Visitors are required to adhere to travel restrictions within their area which may prevent them from travelling to the tour.
