Description: Last year’s conference was a race through the basics. This year, we’ve again assembled admissions experts from 10+ top universities in the US. From plenary sessions to breakout workshops, with roundtable discussions headed by college/university admissions officers from across the US, this conference is not only hands-on but tailor-made to answer your specific questions.
This conference is for everyone from beginners to those who have advised applicants to US universities for years.
Date: Friday, 27 September from 9 am - 4 pm just before our USA College Day university fair
Location: Kensington Close Hotel (closest tube: High Street Kensington in Central London)
- Regular: £100 (13 July - 20 September)

8:15 am - 9 am arrival and registration - for a PROMPT 9 am start
9:00 am – 4 pm, Schools Conference (lunch provided)
Directly following the Conference (at 4:10 pm) we'll walk over to USA College Day together to jump the queue for priority entry at 4:15 pm!
4:30 pm – 7:30 pm, College Day fair opens to the public.

- Do you Make the Grade? We'll look at real examples of school profiles, transcript and reference letters (you'll be able to submit these in the lead up to the conference and your example may just be used!)
- Who Gets In? You Decide: Mock admissions workshop with Rebekah Westphal, Yale College & Janet Irons, Harvard College
- You've Got Questions? We've Got Answers: Roundtable discussion with admissions counsellors and experts in the field

Don't forget your Uni in the USA book! As a special conference bonus, you may buy the book online ahead of time for a greatly reduced rate of £13. (It'll be for sale on the day and after for £18.) You'll have the option at check-out. You will pick-up the book AT THE CONFERENCE! (Therefore avoiding shipping fees!)
*Please note, this event is cost-neutral. We're charging enough to cover our costs. If any proceeds are leftover they will be re-invested into raising awareness of US study in the UK.
