If you live in or around Bath, or if you would like to know more about the University, you are warmly invited to a public information event.
About this event
Please join us at The Edge building on the Claverton Down campus to hear about how we’re working in partnership with others locally to address shared challenges, our focus on sustainability, as well as our sporting and student-led activities.
Speakers at the meeting, which starts at 6pm, will include Pamela Chesters CBE, Chair of Council for the University of Bath; Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Ian White; Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Phil Allmendinger and The SU (students’ union) President Annie Willingham. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
There will be wine, soft drinks and other refreshments available from 5pm. The Holburne Museum is also holding a special late opening of its ‘Holburne Opens’ at the Edge this evening, so you are welcome to take a look around the gallery before the meeting starts.
The event is free, but pre-booking is essential. Please show your tickets on arrival.
Finding us and transport
You can travel to the University of Bath from the city using public transport; the U1 and U2 First Bus routes provide a regular service from town.
You can also drive to our campus, and you can park for free if you’re attending this event.
The Edge is located in the East of campus, near the East car park and next to the Sports Training Village: https://www.bath.ac.uk/locations/the-edge/
