Annual Disability Lecture 2022 - Where next for disabled people’s equal participation?
About this event
'Where next for disabled people’s equal participation? Navigating opportunities and threats in the context of Covid, cost of living and assorted future trends.'
This year’s lecture will be delivered by Liz Sayce who is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the LSE International Inequalities Institute and former CEO of Disability Rights UK.
As a University and Colleges community we would like to understand better the impact of the pandemic on disabled people, including in healthcare provision, in education, in employment and the changes to the way disabled people are perceived and represented.
The lecture will take place via Teams and a BSL interpreter will be present and captioning available.
