Event description

Description

To mark the University's 50th anniversary, we're inviting alumni back to take part in the Choir & Orchestra March concert, which will be performed in the Caird Hall on Sunday 26th March 2017.

It doesn't matter if you weren't part of the choir / orchestra at the time.

For members of the orchestra, the two works will be Brahms' Academic Festival Overture and Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite, while the choir will perform Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and Eric Whitacre's Godzilla eats Las Vegas.

If there is enough interest, we could make a weekend of it with rehearsals on the Saturday followed by a reunion meal in the evening with the dress rehearsal on the Sunday afternoon.

However, if you're able to only commit for one day, we'd still love to see you on the Sunday for the rehearsal in the afternoon and concert in the evening. If you're in touch with any other ex-members of the society, please invite them too.

The date is confirmed, but timings are still to be finalised.

Register your interest in performing (no commitment) now, and if you don't want to perform - you can buy tickets from the Dundee City Box Office.
