The School of Education & Social Work offer a wide range of high quality programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with flexible study options including part-time, online and distance learning.

The BA Professional Development course allows you to specialise in your field of expertise and develop the skills and adaptability required to respond effectively to the changing demands of your professional workplace.
If you already have some degree level credit you could be eligible for advanced entry.
The BA Childhood Practice and Childhood Studies programmes will give you the opportunity to develop your professionalism and leadership skills while you continue to work with young people from 0 - 16 years. The courses include theories and principles of childhood.
This Masters degree is for people working or interested in working in any educational sector or discipline. You will develop a deep knowledge of educational theory and research which is directly applicable to your professional practice. The programme is the only one in the world to have pathways validated by both the GTCS and the International Baccalaureate.
The MSc Community Learning and Development offers an exciting and innovative opportunity for advanced study based around community learning practice and inquiry. The course is offered as a workplace based, blended learning course of study using online materials and communication media, with study workshops and tutor support.
The MSc Leadership and Innovation is an advanced course of study for professionals, managers and leaders who wish to develop their leadership and innovation knowledge and skills. It sets out to critically examine the relationship between relevant theory, current service design and systems and the context for change and innovation
This is an in-service part-time course, delivered by distance learning via the University of Dundee's Virtual Learning Environment. It is offered in partnership with participating colleges, educational institutions and professional training organisations. In the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, it is worth 60 credits at Level 11 (Masters) at postgraduate level or Level 9 at undergraduate level.
