Event description

This is the fourth University of Glasgow Aerospace Symposium and we have developed a conference programme addressing how we can leverage world-class research, New Product Development and collaborative working to address challenges in aircraft manufacturing including design, development, maintenance and processes.

The symposium will bring together stakeholders from the UK and EU aerospace industry, as well as academia and organizations promoting knowledge, and technical networks. A key aim of the symposium will be to bring together new consortia to address challenges identified during workshop sessions.

The symposium will combine plenary lectures, keynote presentations and interactive workshops covering topics including but not limited to: Industry 4.0, engine manufacturing, autonomous system production and robotics manufacturing as well as other areas of interest.

Sessions will be presented and chaired by leading figures and international experts from industry, government and academia. The symposium will provide an excellent opportunity to support manufacturing and new business prospects. In addition to the main lectures, presentations and discussions; poster sessions will provide an insight into aerospace sciences research underway at the University of Glasgow.
