This seminar, the 1st in the University of Greenwich LGBT+ Staff Network new Seminar Series 2016-17, is being held to help mark the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December).
The seminar will explore the interfaces and differences between learning disability, disability, learning difficulty or specific learning difference. We will also consider the particular experiences of LGBT+ people within these areas.

The seminar and discussion will be led by Andrew Waite. Andrew is the Chief Executive for Greenwich Mencap, which runs a range of support services for adults and children with learning difficulties and their families in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
