This seminar, the 2nd in the University of Greenwich LGBT+ Staff Network Seminar Series 2016-17, is being held to help mark LGBT History Month 2017, which has the theme "Citizenship, PSHE and Law".
The seminar will present the findings of research undertaken at the University of Birmingham and explore application of the Ward-Gale model for development of LGBTQ-inclusive curricula. The model is applicable to other equality dimensions within the academic curriculum, for example ethnicity or disability, and has potential for application to other areas of university activity beyond the curriculum.

The seminar and discussion will be led by Nicola Gale, lecturer and researcher at the University of Birmingham and co-creator of the Ward-Gale model. Nicola is also a lead co-ordinator for the LGBTQ In HE Network.
