University of Leicester, HyPIR Postgraduate Conference, 2017
Tue 16 May 2017, 09:00 – 18:00 BST
The School of History, Politics and International Relations’ 5th Postgraduate Conference will be held on Tuesday 16th May 2017, at Brookfield House. The conference is open to all postgraduate students at the University of Leicester, working on dissertations or theses related to history, politics or international relations – this includes students who are registered outside the School of History, Politics and International Relations.
This event is open to all of those who wish to attend the conference. The deadline to present a paper has since passed, but we would encourage anyone interested in the event to attend. Aside from providing an opportunity to hear all the interesting research currently being worked on in HyPIR, the conference also intends to promote discussion and collaboration across the department and wider psotgraduate community. Attendance also provides you with the opportunity to give presenters helpful, constructive feedback on their projects.
Lunch and Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and the conference will end with a Wine-Reception at 5 - 6pm. Registration, along with tea and coffee, will begin at 9.15 am, with the first panels beginning at 10 am.
