The University of London and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) are hosting a panel debate evening on Tuesday 4 July 2017.

The topic of the evening will be 'Overcoming Global Challenges within Your Business.'

The panelists include:

Liz Jackson MBE, an inspirational figure who was awarded an MBE for services to business. Liz has founded and led a highly successful company, building it from the ground up, and now as Marketing Director at BCMS, understands the pressures and challenges business owners face. Liz was featured in Channel 4's 'Secret Millionaire' and awarded an MBE in 2007 for services business.

Maggie Buggie, Vice President and Global Sales Officer, Digital at Capgemini. Maggie helps CxOs transform their enterprises and customer experience to increase business performance through intelligent use of digital. She specialises in growth platforms and was the 2013 winner of the of “Women in the City” Technology category award in recognition of her achievements. Maggie holds a MLitt and a B.B.S. (Lang.) in Business and French from Trinity College, Dublin, as well as a degree from the Grande École de Commerce, Rouen.

Mike Johnson, former CEO of Castrol (BP), where he more than doubled the profits of the $9billion business employing 7,500 people in 60 countries. Mike is the founder and CEO of Emergence, a consultancy built on his 20-year track record of establishing and leading successful businesses to breakthrough results in all regions of the world.

Andrew Halper, founder and managing director of Plumb Line Advisors and Canadian former diplomat. Andrew has nearly 20 years’ experience as a lawyer helping Western and Chinese clients in a wide array of sectors, including financial services, FMCGs, manufacturing, natural resources and high technology. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of London, following nine years’ previous service as a member of the Board of City University London.
