Event description

Description

The Student Recruitment Team at the University of Oxford will be running a webinar on Monday 20 November for teachers and guidance counsellors.

The focus of the webinar will be: 'Interviews at Oxford' and will include practical information on the interview process as well as advice about how you can support your students in preparing for interviews. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions. The content of the webinar has been developed particularly for non-UK schools.

Interviews at Oxford happen in December; candidates will usually find out if they have an interview or not in late November or early December. The webinar will therefore be relevant for all those who have students making an application to Oxford this year.

Oxford University is world-famous for academic excellence. We pick the best and brightest students purely on their academic merit and passion for their chosen course. Interviews are just one part of the admissions process at Oxford, tutors will also be looking at a candidates academic achievement, predicted grades, personal statement, teachers' reference and admissions test results (if required for the subject).

To take part in the webinar please use the Eventbrite booking form; we will then send a link to registered participants prior to the session, and details of how to access the webinar from your location. The webinar will be repeated at two time slots on the day, this is to take into account those attending in different time zones across the world.
