Students are invited to the University of Portsmouth to experience three taster lectures from the faculty of Science. This half day conference will cover the 'Human and Natural World' showcasing our BA Geography course, BSc Marine Biology and BSc Sustainable Environmental Management.

The programme is as follows:

9:30 Arrival

11.00 'Does Where You Grow Up Affect Your Life Chances?' (BA Geography) Professor Donald Houston

12.00 'Should We Put An Economic Value on Nature?' (BSc Sustainable Environmental Management) Dr Heather Rumble

This conference is being followed in the afternoon by 'The Physical World' students are encouraged to book onto both if they are interested in gaining a full insight in studying Biology, Geography and Earth and Environmental Sciences.
