Event description
Join us for our annual Arts and Humanities Postgraduate Conference on the timely theme of disruption, taking place on 31 May 2019.

About this Event

To live is to experience disruption. From history to contemporary politics, it continues to shape society. A cornerstone of creativity, disruption breaks the mould, shatters glass ceilings, and radically challenges how we live, work and play. Yet, disruption is often portrayed as negative, painful and unnecessary. From cliché to fundamental component of life, this conference offers an opportunity to explore through an Arts & Humanities perspective the meaning and impact of one word in both personal and public spheres.

Join us at the University of Stirling on 31 May 2019 for this free full-day event examining topics such as new technologies, language evolution, climate change, misinformation, revolution, technology and the creative process, and many more. The full programme will be released mid-April.

Please Note: Registered university delegates will be given ticket priority. Other interested parties will be added to a waiting list and given confirmation 7 days prior to the event.
