Rachel Joyce, the winning author of The Big Read 2019, is visiting the University of Wolverhampton.

About this Event

Rachel Joyce, the winning author of The Big Read 2019, is visiting the University of Wolverhampton to talk about her bestselling novel The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. Tickets are free but booking is required to attend the event. Please book early to ensure you get a seat and bring your book along for signing!

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Book prize and longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. Rachel was awarded the Specsavers National Book Awards ‘New Writer of the Year’ in December 2012 and shortlisted for the ‘UK Author of the Year’ 2014.

Submissions are open until 1pm (BST) Monday, 4th November 2019. We will announce the winner and award a prize at the event on 7th November 2019. There is no limit to the number of entries submitted.
