Separate optional programme for accompanying parents/guardians
The days starts at 10.30am with a welcome talk, please arrive from 9.30am. When you arrive please have your printed ticket(s) or e-ticket(s) on your smartphone ready so that we can sign you in quickly. You'll get a programme for the day and light refreshments will be available from 9.30am after you sign in.
There will be a separate programme each for students and any accompanying parents or guardians. A free lunch will be provided for both students and parents or guardians.
The day will finish for 3.30pm and light refreshments will be provided before you depart.
Train: Sheffield is at the heart of the railway network. Regular services operate between Sheffield and London St. Pancras (from just over 2 hours), Birmingham (1.25 hours), Leeds (1 hour) Manchester (1 hour) and Nottingham (1 hour).
Think Green! Please consider walking from the train station, the University is approximately 30 minute walk from the station.
There is a direct link from the railway station to the Sheffield Station Supertram stop via the main overbridge.
Buses: A number of regular bus services stop at or near the University. A detailed list of all bus services that serve the University campus, their timetables and live departure information can be found by clicking any of the bus stops on the Travel South Yorkshire interactive public transport map.
Tram: You can catch the Supertram to the campus from Meadowhall, the railway station and the city centre. Both the blue route to Malin Bridge and the yellow route to Middlewood stop at West Street and at the University.
Parking: Parking for visitors is available in Q Park Car Parks on campus on Durham Road and Solly Street.
