About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Arts & Homelessness International is the global network of arts and homelessness - we respond to what our sector needs and this often results in new conversations, alliances and exchanges forming. One such alliance is the University Peer Group on Homelessness.

This group meets 4 times a year to discuss homelessness - in the context of students or staff exerperiencing homelessness, universities and colleges taking action on homelessness and academics and students studying homelessness as research topics, particularly with relation to arts and creativity.

The Peer Group is free to join for anyone interested in the subject.

This meeting on 16th May will be hybrid, taking place both in person at the University of Warwick and online on Zoom.

The main agenda item will be to a continuation of the group's work to co-create a University Toolkit for Homelessness

There will be a small number of travel bursaries available with preference to people with lived experience of homelessness not on a salary. Please email matt@artshomelessint.com for more info

Arts & Homelessness International works to bring positive change to people, projects and policy in homelessness through arts and creativity. Our vision is a world in which creativity is an integral part of homelessness and people who are or have been homeless are an intrinsic part of the arts.
