Event description

Description

A one-day conference for GPs, hospital doctors and allied health professionals in aid of the Public Health Collaboration.

We’re bringing together brilliant experts to share their research and experience, and answer your questions on a range of lifestyle medicine-related topics. We'll discuss nutrition, physical activity, sleep, mental health, group consultations, health coaching and social prescribing, and more.

The conference will focus on putting lifestyle medicine into practice. The British Society of Lifestyle Medicine believes lifestyle medicine needs a “realistic team approach and recognition that not one discipline or profession alone can meet our health needs." We aim to nourish this sense of ‘team’, enabling speakers and delegates to share experiences and ideas to mutual advantage. We'll have Q&As with each speaker, panel sessions, networking opportunites, an exhibition and film shows. You'll also hear from patients and healthcare professionals about their successes with lifestyle medicine approaches.

We will donate profits to the Public Health Collaboration (registered charity number: 1171887).

This is a draft programme outline. Please see event website for latest details.
