In this workshop, you'll learn how to craft a Narrative CV that highlights your contributions or the contributions of your research colleagues. The modules are focused on:

contributions to the generation of new ideas, tools, methodologies or knowledge

the development of others and maintenance of effective working relationships

contributions to the wider research and innovation community

contributions to broader research or innovation-users and audiences, and towards wider societal benefit

The workshop will guide you through developing a narrative CV that captures a diverse range of contributions, career journeys and achievements, as well as accounting for career breaks, secondments, and relevant experiences. The workshop is open to and will be relevant to researchers and research managers.

Aims and objectives:

To develop participants' skills to design their own narrative CV and to peer review others

To develop facilitators skills to support the process of the implementation of Narrative CVs in the HWU research community.

To create a community of practice for Narrative CVs.
