City of Wolverhampton Council’s Procurement and Commercial Team invite you to an information and round table discussion session to help small and medium-sized businesses in Wolverhampton understand how to bid for public sector contracts. The session will include the opportunity for suppliers to meet with sector-specific procurement specialists to understand future opportunities and how to bid, including support with registering on the Council’s tendering portal. The morning will include:

· CWC Procurement Presentation: 15 minutes

o Reducing the barriers to Council Procurement

o Impact of the Procurement Act 2023

· Sector-specific round table discussion: 30 minutes

· Feedback and wrap up: 15 minutes

· Networking: 30 minutes
