Carbon management is becoming increasingly important. The British Business Bank estimate SME’s contribute 50% of total emissions from businesses in the UK, therefore these businesses have a key role to reduce emissions to help meet the government’s Net Zero target by 2050.

There are six key reasons why it makes sense for SMEs to manage their carbon:

• Reduce operational costs

• Improve energy efficiency

• Reduce waste

• Signal to customers that they’re a business that cares

• Help comply with environmental legislation

• Improve competitiveness including through tendering processes

In this bitesize Carbon Management workshop, we’ll provide you with the essential skills and resources needed to reduce carbon use in your business. The workshop is delivered by academics and sustainability experts from NTU's Nottingham Business School who will share their practice-based expertise and knowledge.
