A joint WWF & Climate Bonds Initiative session on 'Unlocking the Potential of Green Bonds through effective, credible, widely-accepted and fully developed standards'

The purpose of this session is to raise awareness among participants about the opportunities and risks in the green bond market. It will explore the potential of green bonds market to deliver measurable environmental benefits, provided that effective, credible, widely-accepted and fully developed standards for green bonds are available. It will also highlight nature of opportunity with green bonds, governance regimes in place, and steps to take to take advantage of the market.
