Unlocking the Power of Intellectual Property

This workshop will provide business professionals with a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property (IP) and its critical role in protecting and growing a business. It is part of Humber Business Week 2025.

Participants will learn about the different types of IP (patents, trademarks, copyright, design registration & trade secrets) and their role in protecting innovation, branding, and creative works.

The session will cover practical strategies for identifying and managing IP assets, navigating application processes, and leveraging IP to create new revenue streams.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have the tools and knowledge needed to confidently protect their intellectual property assets and use them to develop their businesses strategically.

This in-person event will be held in Hull Central Library's James Reckitt Reading Room on the first floor.
