Meditation defines that specific type of concentration whereby one’s outbound consciousness is turned inward and exclusively placed on the spiritual aspect of one’s being, namely the soul, or The Spirit. This precise type of focus and action is unique in that it requires no external activity or sensory stimulation. Meditation is a totally internal experience, a personal interaction between your lower and higher selves with the aim of eventually controlling the experience of full emancipation into the soul and Spirit.
When you meditate regularly, you have space and time allocated to rest your mind, breath, heart, and body, and to absorb yourself into the Divine. All excess energy normally wasted on movement and expression is returned to its source in the soul. Neil Patel is the Founder Director of Chi Kri Yoga, a health and Yoga Company established 26 years ago in the UK, committed to unlocking the power of the soul through Yoga and Meditation. Neil has given talks and conducted workshops all over the World at various conferences, most notably being the Yoga Consultant for HSBC Asian Financial Conferences for 3 years and has been featured on many media channels such as Zee TV, B4U, BBC where he has talked about Weight Loss, Stress Management and Yoga for depression and anxiety. He has also been featured in UK Newspapers such as the Sunday Guardian and The Metro and continues to teach, train teachers, and write. Neil has authored books such as: The 10 Principles of Perfect Eating; What is disease?; Anger is Blocked Love. He is on the board of Yoga4NHS and regularly contributes to APPG Indian Sciences meetings at UK Parliament. In this talk, Neil Patel will be unlocking the “Secrets of Meditation”. Whether you are already a regular practitioner, have had limited experience or are completely new to this ancient practise, you will gain some new realisations from this talk that will improve your meditation capacity. Neil will explain the subtle laws of meditation and will accompany these with spontaneous techniques.
