About this event

Join us at Scottalia on Francis Road in Leyton (E10) for a 4-week course on how to read the Major Arcana using both the Italian intuitive method and the Jodorowsky method.

(Lessons are in English.)

Discover the origins and evolution of tarot cards, and how they came to be used. We’ll delve into the history of tarot through the lenses of Alejandro Jodorowsky, Rachel Pollack, Aleister Crowley, Eteilla, and Andrea Vitali comparing their philosophies and approaches.

Each session includes a complimentary glass of wine. Curious about the connection between tarot and wine? You might be surprised by the depth of that pairing…

We’ll even surprise you with tarot-inspired cocktails throughout the course.

This is a one-month commitment, consisting of four Monday evening lessons, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

About the Instructor, Sara:

I’m an anthropologist with a background in the study of witchcraft, magic, and traditional healing practices in Eritrea, Uganda, and Bolivia. I’ve always been fascinated by tarot as both a symbolic language and a social tool, and I’m excited to share this world with you.
