Join us for the private view of UNMAKE // REMAKE, an exhibition by MA Sustainable Design students from the University of Brighton. Hosted at Broadworks by Hive Curates, the show brings together projects that challenge traditional notions of sustainability and explore how design can question, disrupt, and reimagine the systems shaping everyday life.
From the climate crisis to social justice and the futures of care, students from diverse backgrounds have developed work that combines critical thinking, creative practice, and research-led experimentation. Together, their projects reflect the course’s focus on interdisciplinarity, innovation, and impact.
Visitors are invited to experience how unmaking can become the first step toward remaking — opening up fresh ideas, new conversations, and practical responses to some of today’s most urgent challenges.
The MA Sustainable Design is a future-focused, research-led course that empowers students to tackle the complex challenges of sustainability through critical design thinking and practice. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and social impact, the course prepares graduates to lead in the evolving field of sustainable design.
