Unpacking the Problem with Plastic - Debunking the Myths and Re-wiring the Debate
Is plastic pollution the most urgent problem facing our planet. Do we really need plastic and could we live without it? What can we do to break the plastic habit?
To address these questions and more we are hosting a cross-sector discussion panel with expert representatives from the plastics industry, academia and local environmental charities.
Our lunchtime discussions will take place in the Canada Room of the Lanyon building between 12.30 and 2pm.
The debate will be Chaired by Professor Greg Keeffe, Queen's University Belfast
