Over the past year, Carers Trust and Claremont Communications, have worked closely with a diverse group of stakeholders across the social sector to explore how we think, feel and talk about unpaid care and how that influences change. Involving The Health Foundation, Oxfam GB, WeCare Campaign, Care Full and Social Care Futures we set out to design an evidence-based reframing to expand the number of people who see the issue of unpaid care as relevant to them and a priority for government investment.

The result is a bold, collaborative effort to reframe how unpaid care is understood and valued across society. Built on extensive research including a 3,000-person survey, co-designed qualitative interviews, and behavioural insights, the work draws on lived experience and expert input from carers, strategists, and social justice advocates. Whether you're in health, social care, policy, philanthropy or community work, this session will offer valuable insights, fresh tools to shift public narratives, challenge assumptions, and build a society that truly sees and supports unpaid carers. Changing narratives take time, patience and only works as a collective endeavour. Join this webinar to hear more about the new framing principles and how you and your organisation can get involved. Let’s change the story, together.
