About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Are you digitally fatigued in your house? Perhaps your kids are addicted to their smartphones or you are being pestered regularly to buy them one. The Digital Detox Club and My Resilient Mind are proud to present Unplug to Reconnect - an event for adolescents and their parents at Kingswood School, Bath.

It will be a hope-filled afternoon of powerful talks, performance, and collective action. Let’s face it: our kids are in crisis - and so is our culture. It's time to ask: what are smartphones doing to our minds, and how can we reclaim what it means to be human?

The event will end with an inspiring break out session providing a space to discover new offline passions - with taster activities such as clay workshops, crafts, fitness, boxing, fabric art and games to explore what the real world has to offer.

Aims of the event

  • Reduce addiction to smartphones
  • Boost resilience, self-compassion & self-esteem
  • Inspire them with ideas to enrich their lives
  • Rediscovering themselves beyond the screen

Smartphones will be placed in secure pouches on arrival. This event is designed to be fully offline.

Who is invited: Parents and children from 10 to 18 years old.
