How do I join the event online?

The event is taking place online, using Zoom Meetings. A Zoom link will be provided upon registration. You can join a Zoom meetings from a desktop or mobile device. It is recommend to download the Zoom app prior to joining the event: https://zoom.us/support/download

If I join this event online, will my face be on the screen and recorded?

This is a Zoom webinar where only presenters and their screens will be seen. If you join as an attendee, you won’t be on camera and won’t be expected to speak using your mic. You will be able to interact with the audience and presenters via the Zoom chat and Q&A function.

How can I network with other attendees online?

Accepted Answer

There will be a chance to network with other online attendees from 5-5:30pm before the presentation starts, facilitated by a CodeBase member of staff. We can also leave the call open after the presentation for half an hour if online attendees would like to network some more.

Is the event accessible?

Accepted Answer

The event is taking place in-person and online. For online we will be using Zoom, and we will activate closed captioning. We aim for our events to be as accessible as possible. When registering for this event, you’ll be asked if there’s anything we can do to make the event more accessible.
