Untamed Writing Without Fear – Poetry Workshop with Alan Parry

Sunday 2 November | 14:00–17:00 GMT | Online

Write like you’ve got nothing to lose. In Untamed Writing Without Fear, Alan Parry—experienced educator, teacher of adult learners, and editor of poetry and fiction—guides you through three hours of unfiltered creativity, bold truth-telling, and precise craft.

This isn’t about playing safe. It’s about:

  • Breaking through the fear that keeps the best lines unwritten
  • Writing raw, real experiences without gloss or apology
  • Sharpening your language and replacing weak words with ones that land like punches
  • Anchoring emotion in vivid, sensory imagery
  • Using first-person immediacy to drag your reader right into the moment

Past participants call these workshops “permission to write fearlessly”, “packed full of useful content”, and “the perfect balance of theory, exercises, and discussion”. Many have left “with work I never thought I’d write”, and all of them—100%—would recommend it to others.

You’ll have space to push your boundaries in a supportive, inclusive setting where every attendee feels safe, heard, and respected. Expect to surprise yourself, take risks, and walk away with words that matter—plus a practical editing toolbox you can use again and again.

100% of past participants experienced growth in their writing. Every single one left with something new to apply. No one left unchanged.

If you’re ready to step outside your comfort zone and write with unapologetic honesty, this is your invitation.

Spaces are limited—join us and write without fear.
